Flexible WordPress implementation for a nonprofit platform
Overview
Working as a technical subcontractor for a partner agency, I delivered custom WordPress and front-end implementation work to inject flexibility and donation features into the Fibroid Foundation’s existing Elementor-based site.
A key contribution was building reusable front-end features that supported donations, events, and content publishing without requiring a full site rebuild. This included a performant homepage donation experience, editor-friendly event shortcodes, and resilient content modules that handled incomplete data gracefully.
